He has also appeared in the films Goon and Goon: Last of the Enforcers, as well as the television series The Beaverton, Man Seeking Woman, and What Would Sal Do?. Wilson was born in Toronto, Ontario, and attended the University of Toronto, where he studied English and Drama. He began his career as a stand-up comedian, performing at clubs and festivals across Canada. He has also appeared on the television shows The Comedy Network's Match Game, CBC's The Debaters, and MuchMusic's Video on Trial. Wilson has been nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards for his work on Letterkenny, and won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Performance in a TV Series in 2017. He currently resides in Toronto.
